EXHIBITION ON VIEW: january 15 – february 7, 2026
William Campbell Gallery presents Grit & Grace, its annual exhibition honoring the strength, beauty, and evolving narratives of the American West. On view from January 15 through February 7, 2026, the exhibition brings together works that reveal both the raw and refined dimensions of their subjects, offering a thoughtful exploration of identity, resilience, and transformation across a range of media. An opening reception will be held on January 15 at 6 PM, inviting guests to meet the artists and experience the exhibition firsthand.
Coinciding with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, this year’s edition introduces a compelling roster of artists whose works embody grit and grace in equal measure. Featured artists include Heith A. Banowetz, Woodrow Blagg, Kevin Chupik, Gregory Goves, Marshall Harris, Autumn Hunnicutt, Knox Kronenberg, Benjamin Latham, Cruz Ortiz, Holly Roberts, Bob Wade, and Dana
Younger. Spanning painting, sculpture, mixed media, and works on paper, the exhibition highlights a wide range of artistic approaches—from narrative-driven compositions to symbolic and conceptual interpretations of the American West.
“This exhibition explores the American West not as a fixed idea, but as a living, evolving narrative
shaped by personal experience, resilience, and imagination,” said Misty Locke, Gallery Director at
William Campbell Gallery.
Grit & Grace invites viewers to consider how Western identity continues to evolve—shaped by
history, personal narrative, and contemporary experience. The works on view challenge familiar
myths while honoring the region’s cultural legacy, presenting a vision of the West that is both
grounded and imaginative.
Join us for the opening reception on January 15, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM CST, to meet the artists
and experience their extraordinary work
